Stolen Designs
I didn't like the look of large watermarks which led to stealing of images and ultimately counterfeits being made. Fast fashion companies in China printed my designs on polyester corsets selling for as low as $5 on these sites. While spreading awareness was important there is little protection for small brands especially abroad.
Scalability
As a sole creator, marketing, creating, and customer service became difficult as the demand grew. This resulted in a fixed amount of sales per month as that was what was possible.
